J.C. Holdway Restaurant- Wonderful Birthday Dinner! Everything about our experience was divine! The attentiveness of the staff was exemplary.

Our cocktails were superb - mixed to perfection.

We started with oysters, served on the half shell. Followed by a main course of roasted chicken paired with a sweet potato and a Bolognese bacon pasta.

The chicken was tender, slid right off the bone, and was complimented by fantastic sauce.

The Bolognese bacon pasta, was wonderful. Hands down, the best pasta sauce I’ve ever had.

The atmosphere was cozy with a flair of homeyness, with a wood burning fire!

Who doesn’t like a delicious BBQ sandwich? Being raised in the South, I love trying BBQ from other regions. Bear’s Smokehouse has a great sandwich. It’s not a TN BBQ sandwich, but definitely worth a try if you are in the area! Locations also include Asheville, NC! @bearssmokehouse

Time for a little German Cuisine! Gerst Bavarian Haus, Evansville, IN. Served up the best Corned Beef Hash, Potato Pancakes and Berry Cobbler. The model train in the front window has traveled from the Nashville Gerst Haus to the Evansville Gerst Haus and back three times before landing permanently here. At one point in Nashville, it circulated with shot glasses of mouthwash so people who’d had a drink at lunch could refresh themselves before returning to work-there was a bucket by the door to spit in. The engine was once stolen and held for ransom. @gerstbarvarianhaus

The Rustik Oven “Hearty Grains & Seeds Bread” is my favorite bread. It has a rich flavor and a crusty texture. It’s baked using a traditional European baking process. Plus, the bread is Non-GMO Project Verified. Great for sandwiches to toasting for soups. I first found this bread in NJ and immediately fell in love! And now, I now have my favorite in IN. www.therustikoven.com

Tea Lovers - A must try is Ginger Peach White Tea from The Jackson Avenue Tea Company. The blend is refined, but has a delicious rounded flavor! You can pick yours up from @jacksonavenuetea Knoxville, TN.

Fried Bologna Sandwich - takes me back to my childhood. Jalapeño brings a celebration to your mouth. If you are in Knoxville, TN, stop by Sweet Pea’s Barbecue. You won’t be disappointed! @sweetpeasbarbecue
